Discipleship is gaining momentum in Adventist schools, particularly in the context of Encounter Bible. The author emphasizes that discipleship is a life-long process, not a destination. Five discipleship goals are presented:
· Provide opportunity for connection with God
· Develop community
· Inspire a life of purpose
· Emphasize life-long transformation
· Simplify discipleship practice
