The authors apply the design and innovation principles that have been successful in private industry to school leadership.  Moving from the concept of “accidental designers” to “design-inspired leaders,” they outline five roles that leaders can assume to bring their school to the forefront of the new design + education movement.  The roles include:  opportunity seeker, experience architect, rule breaker, producer, and storyteller.
