These companion books call for strong and effective PLCs plus YOU. Historically, PLCs have focused almost exclusively on students and their learning; however, teachers play a vital role in the equation of teaching and learning. Therefore, individual as well as collaborative expertise needs to be maximized by building self-efficacy as well as the collective efficacy of the learning community.
