The subtitle is "and other ways to de-stress and relax in nature” which I thought was very interesting.  This book is organized into sections.  Each section has the same subsections.  This sounds very boring as I write this, but it is really quite interesting.  Each chapter has one or more activities to do in the particular type of nature -water, trees, outdoor rituals, climate, wild places, and nature all around us.  Each chapter also has more information about the nature that is all around us, the climate, sidebars about how science can help us understand questions we may have about nature, and more.  I like the sections titled “Make a Mini Habit” which gives easy ideas on how I can make a positive effect on my planet.  The last subsection is called “Dream Destinations” which gives ideas for bucket list trips.

Examples: The Climate section has:

~Information about climate change

~Speak up and share what you’ve learned about climate change

~Ideas of what you can do to be the change you want for your planet

~Monarch butterfly garden and how to begin to grow one

~Endangered species

~Go on a campout

~Mini Habit: Say no to straws

~Windfarms

~Solar power

~Dream Destinations:  Visit the sea turtles at Padre Island and see the bison at Yellowstone National Park

The photographs fill the book with color and interest.
