The Future of Teaching and the Myths That Hold It Back, 2021

The author is in search of a new model of education to replace ‘traditional’ and ‘progressive’ education.  Progress is being made, but leadership and teachers are being held back by myths and false oppositions.  Drawing on experience in England, North America, and Australia, Guy Claxton aims to banish arguments based on false claims about the brain and poor understanding of cognitive science.
